INFORMATION FOR 2021 APPLICATIONS
APPLICATIONS FOR 2021 WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM THIS PAGE ON FRIDAY 21ST AUGUST AT 9.00AM AND WILL CLOSE ON FRIDAY 28TH AUGUST AT 4.00PM.
APPLICANTS MUST HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED AS A YEAR 7 STUDENT FOR 2021 BY ELISABETH MURDOCH COLLEGE.
APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED VIA ONLINE ONLY.
DOCUMENTS YOU NEED TO HAVE READY FOR YOUR APPLICATION LODGEMENT:
- Headshot / cover photo
- Two most recent school reports (1 from Grade 5 and your most recent Grade 6 report)
- Year 5 NAPLAN results
- A written piece explaining your goals and aspirations for the Murdoch Program. *What is this you may ask? It is a written piece no more than one page long with what you hope to get out of being a part of the Murdoch program.
All applicants for the Murdoch Program are required to sit the online Edutest. There is an administration fee of $82.50 that is paid to directly to Edutest and is non- refundable.
The Edutest will be run online on Saturday September 5th, 2020.

Parents/Carers of Murdoch Program applicants will be notified by phone on Friday 11th of September to confirm that your child has been successful in their Edutest and will be invited to attend an online ZOOM interview. Only students progressing through to the interview stage will be contacted.

Students enrolled in the Elisabeth Murdoch College specialist programs will be expected to pay a special program levy. This levy will assist us to subsidise the cost of incursions and excursions throughout the year. Please note that there may be some events that include a small additional cost.

The Murdoch Program at Elisabeth Murdoch College is a challenging and innovative program aimed at students in Years 7-9 who endeavour to excel in their academic studies. EMC acknowledges that the learning needs of ‘gifted and talented’ students are often significantly different to those of their peers, and we strive to provide an innovative curriculum that encourages students to become independent, lifelong learners.
